Nonlinear PDE research group

Welcome to the home-page of the research group on Nonlinear partial differential equations.

The group is based at the Aalto University School of Science and Technology and the University of Oulu and with close ties to the Universities of Helsinki, Joensuu, Jyväskylä and Turku.

Our research focuses on nonlinear divergence-type operators and function spaces, in both the Euclidean and metric space setting. It is based on techniques from Functional Analysis, Harmonic Analysis, Real Analysis, PDE and the Calculus of Variations.

In our research, we rely heavily on group work to carry out our extensive research program. Although much collaboration will take place within the group, we also work at length with other colleagues in Finland and abroad.
