Tuning fundamental frequency and mode of phonation in a vowel synthesis model
An existing computational model for production of glottal pulses
corresponding to human speech sounds has been adapted for use with
magnetic resonance imaging data of various vocal tract configurations.
In this talk, particular attention is given to methods for tuning this
model to produce output pulses that match a target fundamental
frequency and mode of phonation.
