In the spring term 2005 I will lecture the course

Mat-5.156 Theory of Elasticity (4 cu) L

Mat-5.156 Elastisuusteoria (4 ov) L

The course deals with the mechanics of elastic solids based on the calculus on variations. The goal is to provide the foundations for understanding the partial differential equations arising from elasticity theory and also to support courses on numerical methods.
